Nitrogen Oxides

NOx refers to the concentration of NOx (nitrogen oxides), which includes nitric oxide (NO) and nitrogen dioxide (NO₂), in air or other environments. NOx is an important air pollutant because it contributes to acid rain formation, tropospheric ozone, and particulate pollution. NOx measurement is used to monitor air quality, control industrial and transportation emissions, and assess environmental impacts on human health and ecosystems.
